Aloo Tamatar ki Sabzi
Ingredients:
- Potato: 4-5 (Don't peel) (chopped)
- Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
- Ginger: 1 inch piece (grated)
- Tomato: 4 (pureed)
- Oil: 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Turmeric pwd: 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida: a pinch
- Salt: to taste
- Coriander leaves : a few (chopped)
Method:
- Heat oil in cooker. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida.
- Add ginger, green chilli , salt, turmeric pwd and tomato puree.
- Add chopped potatoes and approx 1 glass water.
- Close the cooker and take 1 whistle.
- Simmer and cook for 10 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with poori, chapati or parantha.
