Ingredients:
- Oats: 1 cup
- Sugar: 1/4 cup (You can add upto 1/2 cup if you are sweet tooth)
- Besan: 1 tbsp
- Walnuts/ Almonds (chopped)
- Cardamom pods: 3-4
- Warm milk: 4-5 tbsp or as required
Method:
- Dry roast oats and besan on low flame till light brown. It takes approx 2-3 mins.
- Allow it to cool.
- Now grind oats, sugar, besan, cardamom pods to form a fine powder.
- Take the oats powder in flat pan.
- Add chopped nuts and with spoon, slowly add milk while mixing it with hand.
- Make small ladoos. (You can add a little more milk if the mixture is still dry)
- Ready to serve.
PS:
- You can use ghee (1/4 cup) instead of milk. For that, slightly warm the ghee and add ground oats powder and nuts. Mix well and form ladoos.
- You can also add dessicated coconut along with nuts (in step 5 above)
- These ladoos can stay upto a week if refrigerated and stored in air tight container.
