Sooji ki Kheer (Rava Payasam)


Ingredients:
  • Coarse Semolina: 1/2 cup
  • Desi Ghee: 2 tbsp
  • Sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Milk: 1 cup
  • Caramom pwd: 1 tsp
  • Cinnamom pwd: 1tsp (optional)
  • Dryfruit: 
    • Almonds (chopped)
    • Cashews (chopped)
    • Raisins 
Method:
  1. Heat ghee in pan.
  2. Add semolina and cook it on low flame till it turns light brown. Keep it aside.
  3. In another pan, boil milk.
  4. Add cardamom pwd, cinnamon pwd and sugar. Stir to mix all the ingredients in milk.
  5. Take a boil. 
  6. Lower the flame and add semolina to the milk. Keep stirring continuously.
  7. Cook until the mixture thickens a bit.
  8. Garnish with dry fruit and serve hot.
