Ingredients:
- Spinach Leaves: chopped
- Lettuce leaves: chopped
- Salt: to taste
- Whole Meal Flour/ Wheat Flour: 1 cup
- Oil: 5-6 tbsp
Method:
- In a flat pan, put spinach and lettuce leaves, wheat flour and salt.
- Knead dough with water.(Prepare dough by mixing flour and just sufficient water(~1/2 cup).Knead well with hands till the dough becomes soft)
- Heat non-stick tawa/ flat pan.
- Take little dough and make small ball. Dust with wheat flour.
- Roll to make chapati on the rolling board.
- Put chapati on tawa. Flip when it is slightly cooked (nearly after a few seconds).
- Flip again after a few seconds(when chapati turns slight brown).
- Now with the help of any cotton cloth, press it gently near the edges so that chapati puffs up.
- When done, remove from tawa. Apply ghee or butter.
- Ready to serve with any vegetable, raita or daal (lentil).
