Ingredients:
- Amla/ Gooseberry: 15
- Green chilli: 8 (See pic for variety)
- Saunf/ Fennel seeds: 1 tbsp (Ground or Sabut)
- Salt
- Dhaniya pwd: 1 tbsp
- Haldi
- Hing
- Oil: 1tbsp
Method:
- Wash amla and green chilli.
- In a microwavable bowl, add amlas. Steam amla in microwave for 4-6 mins until soft (Don't add any water while steaming). Deseed them.
- Wipe green chillies to dry them. Then, cut green chillies as shown in pic.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add hing and green chilli. Saute it for 2-3 mins to make it soft.
- Add amla, salt, dhainya pwd, saunf and haldi. Mix well.
- Cover and cook for 1-2 mins.
- Ready to serve.
- Can't be kept for 8-10 days (may go upto 2-3 weeks), if refrigerated.
