Got to learn this recipe from my Mom....
Ingredients:
- Potatoes: 4-5 (peeled and chopped)
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
- Coriander pwd: 1 tsp
- Fennel pwd: 1tsp
- Roasted cumin pwd: 1-2 tsp
- Amchur (Mango pwd): 1/2-1 tsp
- Salt
- Black Pepper pwd: 1/2-1 tsp
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Oil: 1-2 tbsp
Method:
- Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
- Let them splutter.
- Add potatoes, salt, red chilli pwd, coriander pwd, fennel pwd. Mix well.
- Let them cook for 10-15 mins on low flame till done.
- Add roasted cumin pwd, black pepper pwd and amchur. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins.
- Serve hot with paranthas and yogurt/ raita.
