Bhatura






Method 1: 
This is my preferable method- quick and easy and gives great result :)

Ingredients:
  • Maida/ Plain Flour: 1 cup
  • Atta/ Wheat Flour: 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt: a pinch 
  • Sugar: 1-2 tbsp
  • Soda water with good amount of fizz
  • Oil: For frying
Method:
  1. In a pan, add maida, atta, salt and sugar. Mix well. With soda water, knead dough. Dough should be soft. Oil it when done. (Don't add water)
  2. Cover and Keep the dough aside for fermentation for at least half an hour at a warm place. (Preferably, 1 to 2 hours would be good)
  3. Heat oil in kadai/ Deep frying pan.
  4. Take little dough and make small ball .
  5. Roll it to with rolling pin to form a small oval shape chapati with the help of oil. (Don't dust it with flour)
  6. Put it the kadai and fry till it turns golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with chole

Method 2:
Ingredients:
  • Maida/ Plain Flour: 1 cup
  • Atta/ Wheat Flour: 2-3 tbsp
  • Curd: 1/2-3/4 cup
  • Salt: a pinch (optional)
  • Baking pwd: 1 tsp
  • Oil: For frying
Method:
  1. In a pan, add maida, atta, salt and baking powder. Mix well. With curd, knead dough. Dough should be little hard and slightly oil it when done. (Don't add water)
  2. Cover and Keep the dough aside for fermentation for atleast 3-4 hours at a warm place.
  3. Heat oil in kadai/ Deep frying pan.
  4. Take little dough and make small ball .
  5. Roll it to with rolling pin to form a small oval shape chapati with the help of oil. (Don't dust it with flour)
  6. Put it the kadai and fry till it turns golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with chole
