Meethi Seviyan (Sweet Vermicelli)


Ingredients:
  • Seviyan (Vermicelli) : 1/2 cup (see pic on the right)
  • Milk: 2 cups
  • Sugar: 2-3 tbsp 
  • Saffron strands: a few
  • Green cardamom pwd: 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon pwd: a pinch
  • Any chopped Dry fruit (I used almonds- with peel)
Method:
  1. Put milk in pan. Add saffron stands. Take a boil. 
  2. Simmer and cook on low flame for approx 1 hour. Keep stirring after every 5 mins.
  3. Add sugar. Mix well.
  4. Add seviyan. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 5-7 mins.
  5. Sprinkle chopped dry fruit.
  6. Ready to serve hot or cold.
