Avocado parantha


Ingredients:
  • Ripe Avocado : 2 (Peeled and mashed)
  • Whole Wheat Flour: 2 cups
  • Oil
  • Salt: to taste
  • Garlic paste: 2 tbsp (Don't miss it)
  • Fresh Coriander leaves: a few (chopped)
  • Green chilly: 1 (chopped)
  • Onion: 1 (chopped) (optional)
  • Roasted cumin pwd: 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice: 2 tbsp or  Mango pwd: 1 tsp
Method:
  1. In a pan, put mashed avocado, salt, onions, garlic paste, fresh coriander leaves, green chilly, roasted cumin pwd and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Now, knead dough by gradually adding flour to the above mixture. Add a little water, only if needed.
  3. Heat non- stick pan or tawa.
  4. Take a little mixture on hand and make a round ball. Dust with wheat flour.
  5. Roll to make a chapati on the rolling board, dusting with flour if needed. (You cant make chapati in desired shape)
  6. Put parantha on tawa. Flip when it is slightly cooked.
  7. Flip it again after few seconds. Now oil the top of parantha and flip it again.
  8. OIl the other side also. Flip it and heat for another few seconds till done.
  9. Ready to serve with butter or curd or pickle.
