Ghiya ka Soup


Ingredients:
  • Ghiya/ Dudhi/ Bottle Gourd: 1 (peeled and chopped)
  • Potato: 1 (peeled and chopped)
  • Onion: 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic: 1 pod (chopped)
  • Tomato: 2- 3 (chopped)
  • Carrot: 1 (peeled and chopped)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Ginger: a small piece (chopped)
  • Black Pepper pwd: to taste
  • Cumin pwd: 1-2 tsp
  • Olive oil: 1-2 tbsp
Method: 
  1. Heat oil in pan. Add garlic, ginger and onion.Cook for few mins.
  2. Add carrot, salt, potato, tomato and ghiya. Cook till all vegetables become tender.
  3. Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  4. Blend it to form a smooth puree. Add water, if needed.
  5. Add black pepper pwd and cumin pwd.
  6. Serve hot with garlic bread.
