Besan aur Sooji ka Halwa

Happy New Year 2014








Ingredients:
  • Semolina/ Sooji: 3/4 cup
  • Besan: 1/4 cup
  • Desi Ghee: 1 cup
  • Sugar: 1 cup
  • For garnish:
    • Almonds (chopped)
    • Cashews (chopped)
    • Raisins 
Method:
  1. Heat ghee in pan.
  2. Add semolina and besan. Cook it on low flame till it turns light brown.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Add water (~ 4 cups) and cook for another 3-4 mins.
  5. Garnish with dry fruit and serve hot.
