Ingredients:
- Sooji/ Semolina: 1/2 cup
- Dry Methi leaves (optional)
- Yogurt: 1/2 cup
- Ginger Garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Tomato: 1 (chopped) (optional)
- Salt: to taste
- Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
- Onion: 1 (chopped)
- Coriander leaves (chopped)
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Bread slices
- Oil: 4-5 tbsp
- Sooji paste: In a bowl, add sooji, salt, yogurt, methi leaves, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and red chilli pwd. Mix well. Add water if necessary. Make a thick paste.
- Heat non- stick pan.
- Apply 1-2 tbsp of semolina paste on one side of bread.
- Once tawa is hot, lower the flame and lightly grease it.
- Put the slice (with paste side facing the tawa) and cook for 2-3 mins.
- Apply 1-2 tbsp of sooji paste on the top of the slice and flip it. Again, cook for 2-3 mins till done.
- Cut in triangular shape with cutter or serve as such with tomato ketchup.
