Ingredients:
- Tomato: 5-6
- Onion: 2-3
- Ginger: a small piece (grated)
- Raisins: 6-8 pieces
- Cumin seeds: 1tbsp
- Black Pepper pwd: to taste
- Roasted Cumin Pwd: 2 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Sugar: to taste (~ 1-2 tbsp)
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Oil: 2-3 tbsp
Method:
- Boil Tomatoes and peel their skin.
- Grind tomatoes and onions separately.
- Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add onions and ginger. Cook them till onions turn translucent.
- Add tomatoes, raisins, salt, sugar, black pepper pwd, red chilli pwd and cook on low flame for 40-45 mins.
- Ready to serve.
