Mint and Cucumber Raita

Health benefits:

Mint Leaves eliminate toxins from our body. Mint helps to cure stomach problems such as indigestion, heartburn. Also, mint is rich in Vitamin A and C.

Cucumber: has antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties. It is rich in Vitamin K

Yogurt: boosts immune system. Probiotic yogurt tends to lower cholesterol. Yogurts being calcium rich, also boosts the burning of fats after meals.

  • Mint leaves: 1/4 cup 
  • Cucumber: 1/2 
  • Yogurt: 1 cup 
  • Salt: to taste
  • Roasted cumin pwd: 1 tsp
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  1. Wash and Grind mint leaves with a very little water to form puree.
  2. Wash and grate cucumber.
  3. Beat yogurt well.
  4. Add grated cucumber, mint puree, salt, roasted cumin pwd and red chilli pwd.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Ready to serve with parantha/ chapati and any vegetable.
