Ingredients:
- Gram Flour (Besan): 1/2 cup
- Capsicum/ Pepper: 1 (sliced into thin round strips)
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Salt: to taste
- Carom seeds (Ajwain): 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Oil: for frying
Method:
- Mix gram flour, red chilli pwd, salt, carom seeds with water (~1/4 cup) to form a smooth and slightly thick batter.
- Heat oil in kadai/ deep frying pan.
- Dip every slice of capsicum in batter and fry till it turns golden brown.
- Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or mint sauce.
