Jeera Aloo

  • Potato: 4-5 (Peeled and chopped)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Turmeric pwd: to taste
  • Oil: 3-4 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds: 2-3 tsp
  • Amchoor (Dry Mango Pwd): 1 tsp (optional)

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add potatoes, salt, red chilli pwd, turmeric pwd and amchoor.
  3. Cook on low flame till done. 
  4. Turn off the gas.
  5. Serve with chapati,/parantha and curd.
