Pav Bhaji



Ingredients:

  • Potato: 3-4 (medium size) (chopped)
  • Green Beans (chopped)
  • Cauliflower: 3-4 florets  
  • Carrot: 1(chopped)
  • Boiled Peas: 1/2 cup
  • Onions: 2 (chopped)
  • Tomato: 3-4(chopped)
  • Ginger Garlic paste: 1Tbsp
  • Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Coriander pwd: 1 tbsp 
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Fennel pwd: 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds: 1-2 tsp
  • Pav/Buns
  • Pav Bhaji pwd: 1-2 tsp
  • Butter

Method:

  1. Pressure cook potato, green beans, carrot and cauliflower with a little water, salt and turmeric pwd. Take 2 whistles and cook on sim gas for 5 mins.
  2. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let it splutter. Add ginger garlic paste. Cook for few mins.
  3. Add onions and cook till translucent. Add tomatoes. Cook till done.
  4. Add peas, red chilli pwd, pav bhaji masala, coriander pwd and fennel pwd.
  5. Add pressure cooked vegetables in it. Mash vegetables with potato masher.
  6. Add lemon juice. Garnish bhaji with coriander leaves, chopped onion and lotzzz of butter :)
  7. Serve bhaji with lightly toasted buns/ pav.

    i think i have never seen such unique a hobby, sharing recipes. eveything looks great and delicious....
