Thanks to my dear friend Anubha Bhargava from whom I got this idea :))
Ingredients:
- Boiled Chick Peas: 1 cup
- Grated Paneer (Indian cottage cheese): 1/4 cup
- Boiled Potato: 1 (optional) (grated)
- Salt: to taste
- Red chilli pwed: to taste
- Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
- Semolina: 1/2cup (optional)
- Onion:1 (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves: a few (finely chopped)
- Ginger : a small piece (grated)
- Oil: 2 -3 tbsp
Method:
- Mash chick peas properly.
- Add paneer, potato, onion, salt, red chilli pwd, green chilli, semolina, ginger, coriander leaves and mix well.
- Heat tawa/ non-stick pan.
- Take a spoon of mixture on your hand. Make a round ball and put it on tawa.
- Grease it lightly on top. When it turns golden brown. Flip it and cook till done.
- Serve hot as :
- Chaat - sprinkle yogurt, garam masala, tamarind chutney, boiled chick peas and coriander leaves.
