Kala Chana Tikki

  • Boiled Kala Chana:  1 cup 
  • Grated carrot: 1
  • Semolina: 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwed: to taste
  • Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
  • Oil: 2 -3 tbsp

  1. Grind kala chana and carrot together.
  2. Add  salt, red chilli pwd, green chilli, semolina and mix well.
  3. Heat tawa/ non-stick pan.
  4. Take a spoon of mixture on your hand. Make a round ball and put it on tawa.
  5. Grease it lightly on top. When it turns golden brown. Flip it and cook till done.
  6. Serve hot as :
    • Chaat - sprinkle yogurt, garam masala, tamarind chutney, boiled chick peas and coriander leaves.
