- White Bread Slices
- Gram Flour: 7-8 tbsp
- Red Chilli pwd: to taste
- Kasoori Methi
- Salt: to taste
- Amchur (Mango pwd): 1 tsp (optional)
- Ajwain (carom seeds): 1/2- 1 tsp
- Ginger: a small piece (grated)
- Oil: for frying
Method:
- Cut each bread slice into two halves from centre. (You can give it any shape)
- For Batter:
- In a pan, add gram flour, salt, red chilli pwd, kassori methi, carom seeds, amchur, ginger and water to form batter. The batter should not be too thick. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
- Take a bread slice and dip it in batter (It should be properly covered with batter on all sides)
- Heat oil in pan/ kadai.
- Deep fry till golden brown .
- Serve with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney.
