Ingredients:
- Carrots: 8-10
- Milk: 1 cup (approx) (Note: If taking 1 kg carrots, then milk- 1 kg)
- Sugar: 1cup
- cardamom pwd (optional)
- For Garnish:
- Almonds: 8-10 (chopped)
- Raisins: 8-10
- Cashews : 8-10 (chopped)
Method:
- Peel, wash and grate carrots.
- Take a pan. Add grated carrots and 1/4 cup milk. Cook it on sim gas.
- Gradually add more milk and cook till all the milk gets evaporated.
- Add sugar and cardamom pwd. Mix properly. Turn off the gas.
- Garnish with almonds and raisins.
- Serve hot.
- Shelf life: 1 week if refrigerated. Don't store in air tight container.
