Broccoli Pakora

  • Gram Flour (Besan): 1/2 cup
  • Broccoli 1 (cut into small florets)
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Salt: to taste
  • Carom seeds (Ajwain): 1/2 tsp (optional)  
  • Oil: for frying

  1. Mix gram flour, red chilli pwd, salt, carom seeds with water (~1/4 cup) to form a smooth and slightly thick batter.
  2. Heat oil in kadai/ deep frying pan.
  3. Dip every floret in batter and then fry till it turns golden brown. 
  4. Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or mint sauce.
