Ingredients:
- Basmati Rice: 1 cup
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Ghee: 3-4 tbsp
- Dry fruit:
- Raisins: 10-12 pieces
- Almonds: 5-6 pices
- Cashews: 5-6 pieces
- Saffron flakes: 3-4 (Soaked in 2 tbsp milk )
- Milk: less than 1/4 cup
- Wash rice properly and dip it in water(~ 2cups) for 15 mins.
- Add sugar and milk. Take a boil on high flame and cook rice on low flame till done (~10-15 mins). Keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in pan. Add dry fruits and saffron (soaked). Roast dry fruit for few mins on low flame. Turn off gas.
- Add the cooked rice to the roasted dry fuits and mix well.
- Ready to serve.
