Daliya/ Bulgur Wheat (Sweet version)

Bulgur Wheat/ Daliya is very light and healthy option for breakfast. It is very good for upset stomach. Also, an excellent source of fiber that helps to maintain healthy digestive system


  • Bulgur Wheat/ Daliya : 1/2 cup
  • Sugar: 1/2 cup 
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Ghee/Oil : 2 tbsp


  1. Heat oil/ ghee in pan.
  2. Add Daliya and roast on low flame till it becomes golden brown.
  3. Add water (~1-2 cups). Cook it on low flame for 40-45 mins.
  4. Add milk, sugar and take a boil on high flame.
  5. Cook for another 15 mins on low flame. Turn off the flame.
  6. Ready to serve.
