Mushroom Matar with gravy



Ingredients:
  • Mushrooms: 8-10 pieces
  • Peas: 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes: 2(chopped/ Pureed)
  • Ginger garlic paste: 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
Method:
  1. Wash mushrooms properly. Cut them into halves.
  2. Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste. Add tomatoes, salt, red chilli pwd, turmeric pwd. 
  4. Add mushrooms, peas and water (~1/2 cup).
  5. Take 1 whistle on high flame and cook for low flame for 5 mins. Turn off the gas.
  6. Ready to serve with chapati, parantha or rice.
