Ingredients:
- Potato: 3-4 (boiled, peeled and mashed)
- Peas : 1/4 cup (boiled and mashed)
- Channa daal: 1/8 cup (boiled and slightly mashed)
- Onion: 1/2(chopped finely)
- Green chilli (chopped)
- Salt: to taste
- Garam masala: to taste
- Coriander leaves (chopped)
- Coriander pwd: 1/4 tsp
- Cornflour: 1-2 tbsp
- Oil: for frying
Method:
- Mix potato, peas, onion, coriander leaves and salt.
- Inner filling/ Daal mixture:
- Mix channa dal, onion, salt, coriander pwd, garam masala and green chilli.
- Keep it aside.
- Take little portion of mashed potatoes in hand.
- Make a small hole in it and put 1 tsp of daal mixture in it and seal the ball.
- Dust it with corn flour and Slightly press the ball to make it flat.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Deep fry the tikkis or shallow fry it till golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
