Courgette/ Zucchini









Benefits:
It is low in calories and contains Vitamin A, folic acid and potassium.


Ingredients:
  • Courgette: 3-4 (Washed and chopped)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Sugar: 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Mango pwd (Amchur): 1 tsp (optional)
  • Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds: 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste 
  • Oil: 1 tbsp
Method:
    1. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let the splutter.
    2. Add turmeric pwd, salt, red chilli pwd, amchur pwd, sugar and courgette.
    3. Cook on low flame till done.
    4. Ready to serve with chapati, nan or parantha.
