Naakh (Pear) ki Subzi

This is my mom's recipe that I like a lot. It's really yummmmy....



Ingredients:
  • Pear (Naakh): 5-6 (Peeled and cubed)
  • Carom seeds/ Ajwain: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Sugar: 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli pwd: to taste
  • Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 1 tsp
Method:
  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add carom seeds, turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd, salt and pear (cubed).
  2. Add a little (1/4 cup) water. Take 1 whistle and switch off the gas.
  3. Add sugar. Mix well.
  4. Serve hot with chapati, parantha or rice.
