Brussel Sprouts

Brussel Sprouts look like baby cabbage. They contain anti-inflammatory nutrient called Vitamin K. They are rich in Vitamin C. They have cholesterol lowering ability, a good source of antioxidants (helps fight cancers)  and are  high source of proteins. They are very good for diabetics. So you will do yourself and your family, a world of good if you include it in your regular healthy diet.




Ingredients:
  • Brussel Sprouts: 10-12 (chopped) (See in Pic on right)
  • Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
  • Tomato: 1 (chopped)
  • Turmeric pwd: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste 
  • Oil: 1 tbsp

Method:
  1. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let the splutter.
  2. Add turmeric pwd, Salt, red chilli pwd, tomato and brussel sprouts.
  3. Cook on low flame till done.
  4. Ready to serve with chapati, nan or parantha.
