Stuffed Capsicum rings

  • Red/ Green Pepper : 1-2
  • For Stuffing:
    • Paneer/ Indian Cottage Cheese : 100 gms (grated/ mashed)
    • Boiled Potato: 1 (mashed)
    • Green chilli: 1-2 (chopped)
    • Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
    • Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
    • Salt: to taste
    • Red chilli pwd: to taste
    • Garam masala: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 1 tbsp
  1. Cut capsicum in 1cm thick rings/ circles (Remove the seeds)
  2. For Stuffing: Mix all the ingredients properly.
  3. Take capsicum ring and fill the stuffing in the centre of the ring. 
  4. Fill all the rings with stuffing.
  5. Heat non-stick tawa/ non-stick pan.
  6. Slightly oil one side of capsicum ring and put it on tawa. When it turns golden brown, apply oil on the other side of ring and flip it. Cook till the other side also turns golden brown.
  7. Cover the pan to cook the capsicum. Make sure the capsicum is not over-cooked.
  8. Carefully remove from pan.
  9. Serve hot with chapati or parantha
