Curd Rice



Ingredients:
  • Rice: 1cup
  • Curd: 1 cup
  • Mustard Seeds: 1-2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves: a few
  • Chana Daal/ Moon Dhuli daal: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Black pepper pwd: to taste
  • Green Chilli: 1 (chopped)
  • Oil: 1-2 tbsp

Method:
  1. Wash rice properly and soak it in water (2 cups) for 10-15 mins.
  2. Boil the rice and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
  4. Add curry leaves, green chilli, daal . Cook for few mins and add rice.
  5. Add salt, black pepper pwd and curd . Mix well.
  6. Ready to serve.
