Mushroom Matar (Dry)



Ingredients:
  • Mushrooms: 1 cup (washed and chopped into halves)
  • Onions: 2-3(chopped)
  • Tomato: 1(chopped)
  • Ginger: a medium size piece (chopped)
  • Peas : 1/2 cup
  • Oil: 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Cumin seeds: 2 tsp
  • Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp

Method:
  1. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add onions and ginger. Cook on low flame till onions turn translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms, tomato, peas, salt, turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd. Don't add any extra water for cooking.
  4. Cook on low flame till done (~10-15 mins). 
  5. Ready to serve with chapati, parantha, bread or nan.
