Ingredients:
- Potato: 4-5 (boiled, peeled and mashed)
- Onion: 1 (chopped)
- Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
- Salt: to taste
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Mango pwd (Amchur): 1 tsp (optional)
- White Bread slices: 6-7
- Oil: for frying
Method:
- For stuffing:
- In a pan, add potato (mashed), onion, green chilli, salt, red chilli pwd and mango pwd. Mix well.
- Take bread slices and cut the edges.
- Take a little water in pan and add salt (1 tsp) to it.
- Dip a bread slice in water and squeeze out excess water by pressing in your palms. Make sure the shape of bread is intact.
- Now put some stuffing in the centre of the bread and fold bread carefully to join the open ends in the cylindrical/ circular shape.
- Repeat the process for all the bread slices to form stuffed bread rolls.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Deep fry each bread roll till it turns golden brown.
- Serve crispy hot bread rolls with tomato ketchup, coriander mint chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
