Bread Rolls



Ingredients:
  • Potato: 4-5 (boiled, peeled and mashed)
  • Onion: 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilli: 1 (chopped)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Red chilli pwd: to taste
  • Mango pwd (Amchur): 1 tsp (optional)
  • White Bread slices: 6-7
  • Oil: for frying
Method:
  1. For stuffing:
    • In a pan, add potato (mashed), onion, green chilli, salt, red chilli pwd and mango pwd. Mix well.
  2. Take bread slices and cut the edges.
  3. Take a little water in pan and add salt (1 tsp) to it.
  4. Dip a bread slice in water and squeeze out excess water by pressing in your palms. Make sure the shape of bread is intact.
  5. Now put some stuffing in the centre of the bread and  fold bread carefully to join the open ends in the cylindrical/ circular shape. 
  6. Repeat the process for all the bread slices to form stuffed bread rolls.
  7. Heat oil in pan.
  8. Deep fry each bread roll till it turns golden brown.
  9. Serve crispy hot bread rolls with tomato ketchup, coriander mint chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
