Bhindi Do Pyaza
Benefits of Ladyfinger:
It is good for stomach, helps in treating irritable bowels and good for digestion.
- Ladyfinger/ Okra/ Bhindi : 300-400 gms (chopped)
- Onions: 2 (chopped)
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Turmeric pwd: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: 2-3 tbsp
- Red chilli pwd: to taste
- Amchur/ Mango pwd: 1 tsp
- Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add onions and cook them till they turn turn translucent.
- Add bhindi/ okra/ ladyfinger, salt, amchur, red chilli pwd and turmeric pwd. Mix well.
- Cook on low flame till okra/bhindi is done (~ 10 mins)
- Serve hot with chapati or parantha and daal or curd.
