Chana Daal and Courgette
Split Bengal gram (Chana daal): 1/4 cup
Courgette : 4-5 (washed and chopped)
Salt: to taste
Red chilli pwd: to taste
Turmeric pwd: 1/2 tsp
Oil: 1-2 tbsp
Cumin seeds (Jeera) : 1/2 tsp
Wash daal properly. Soak in ample water (~1-2cup ) for 10-15 mins.
In a pressure cooker, add oil. Heat it. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Then add daal, courgette, red chilli pwd, salt, turmeric pwd and water .
Take 1-2 whistles on high flame and cook on low flame for 2-3 mins.
